Tonight I had the privilege of attending the 5th Avenue Theatre world premiere of Secondhand Lions. And here I will post my review and read at your own risk. Of course as a review I want this to be thorough and so therefore you should expect spoilers. Also I believe theatre is an opinion, regardless of wether or not I like something should never give you bearings to go or not go. It has been quite crazy here since moving to Seattle. The work load had been monumental but exactly what I have been craving and needed. I am also sewing again, a little with my small inventory (since I had to leave 90% of my fabric at home). Currently finishing up a pick up skirt and just waiting for my boning supply to come in to finish a corset. Cornish has it's quarks that drive me crazy but at least I'm working in theatre again and it make me quite happy. It will be a long and hard semester but I think I can make it, at least for now anyway. Also a friend and I are trying to set ourselves up to vend at a fairy convention here in Seattle

Went to the seattle renfaire today with theladyrebecca and I have to say I think I have become a renfair snob :( Having sterling for so many years has just truly raised the bar. Although it was fun it was so hot... granted a velvet gown may not have been the smartest choice on my part... but there was absolutely no shade. And it was very expensive. Many shops were so over priced. Theladyrebecca and I were flabbergasted to find a vendor selling corsets for 139 to over 300 and the boning was flimsy thin plastic that in some cases didnt even go the whole length on the boning channel but stopped an inch or more short. Not ok. So perhaps I'll try
